The Troy Historical Society to Show 1962 Troy Film on Sept. 19; Public Invited

TROY - The Troy Historical Society will meet Tuesday, September 19th at 7:00pm at the Troy-Hayner Cultural Center, 301 W. Main St., Troy.  The program for the evening will be the showing of the film The Troy Story, a documentary film made in Troy about 1962. 

   The film was originally made without sound. An individual read a dialogue from a script when the film was first shown.  A few years ago, a project of the historical society was to convert the film from its 16 millimeter format to DVD.  At the time of the conversion, sound and music was added to the film.
