Tipp City Partnership to Host Community Tree Lighting Dec. 3

TIPP CITY - Join the Downtown Tipp City Partnership on December 3, 2021 at Zion Lutheran Church (corner of N. 3rd St. and W. Main St.) for the illumination of our Community Christmas Tree! This is a long standing tradition in downtown Tipp City.


   The event is fun, festive and FREE for all ages! Help us welcome Santa, enjoy festive tunes from the Tipp City Fermatas and Victor the Elf while snacking on some delicious treats.  This year we are excited to welcome a local children's author, Megan Runkle. Megan will close the evening out by reading her book, A Christmas Castle, while the community lights candles.


Timeline for the evening:

6:00 pm - Welcome

6:15 pm - Tipp City Fermatas sing

6:30 pm - Santa arrives  

6:45 pm - Countdown to Illumination

7:00 pm - Reading of, T'was The Night Before Christmas, by Santa

7:15 pm - Announcements

7:30 pm - Reading of, A Christmas Castle, by Megan Runkle with special community candle lighting ceremony

7:45 pm - Closing

   The Downtown Tipp City Partnership is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization with a mission to enhance, preserve, and promote downtown Tipp City from the tracks to the canal. It is an officially designated Main Street organization through Heritage Ohio and Main Street America.
