Information provided by the Tipp City Public Library

TIPP CITY — The 2023 Summer Reading Challenge themed, “All Together Now” begins on June 1st. To launch this year’s challenge, the library will be holding a Kick-Off Event on Monday, June 5th from 6:30 – 8:00 p.m. in the library’s parking lot.

The Kick-Off Event will also feature a ‘touch a truck’ theme. Kids will have the opportunity to see up close several kinds of city trucks. In addition, there will be free Kona Ice, games for kids, and a meet a greet with several community organizations. The Miami County Parks District will be holding a storybook walk. The Candyman will be performing some magic and children will have the opportunity to take pictures with literary characters, Piggie and Elephant. We are also inviting attendees to take part in putting together our community puzzle celebrating our upcoming 100th birthday.

The Tipp City Library would like to thank our community organizations for their participation and  RegalRexnord, Greenville Federal, and F.O.L. for the funding which made this event possible. Those who are interested in registering for the summer reading challenge may do so HERE by downloading the Beanstack app on any smart phone, or by scheduling an appointment with our technology trainer.
