Tipp City's Officer Dickerson Awarded Certificate of Recognition for Life-Saving Action

TIPP CITY - On 7/30/21 at approximately 5:08PM, Officer Dickerson responded to a male who collapsed on his bike and was not breathing. Officer Dickerson arrived promptly and, assisted by off-duty Fire Chief Stitzel with Dayton Airport Fire Department, the pair began CPR. Officer Dickerson applied an AED and administered a shock and then continued CPR until medics arrived. When medics arrived they were able to find a pulse and then transported the man to the hospital.

   Due to the quick actions of Fire Chief Stitzel and Officer Dickerson this man is alive today and is doing very well!!

Officer Dickerson has been awarded a certificate of recognition for life saving action for her efforts that day and the life that was saved!
