Tipp City Businesses Host New Event 2nd Saturdays at 2nd & Dow

TIPP CITY - Unique tastes, smells and experiences await visitors of Bella Gray Market, Bloomora Botanicals and unboxed boutique on September 9. These three downtown Tipp City merchants have teamed up to create a new event, 2nd Saturdays at 2nd and Dow, that features an ever-changing menu of unique experiences, special guests and food offerings on the second Saturday of every month.
Shops will open as early as 10 a.m. for the event, and a variety of activities are planned. Bella Gray Market will host The Wild Banana, a popular smoothie truck, starting at noon and will offer a raffle for a gift basket.
Also beginning at noon and running through 1:30 p.m., unboxed boutique will host a unique pop up hat bar experience. Choose from four colors of hats and work with an expert from Sweet Evergreen Designs to craft a custom design. Accessories such as jewelry, ribbons, feathers and more will be provided, as well as all necessary tools. Pre-registration for this experience is required by emailing unboxedboutique@gmail.com. Cost for the hat bar is $85.
Bloomora Botanicals will host Eleven Roots Flower + Farm starting at 2 p.m. Based in Yellow Springs, Eleven Roots strives to create amazing blooms through eco-friendly and sustainable methods. They grow an array of blossoms not typically found, and they will have arrangements available on hand for you to select from.
Free parking is available to customers in the lot behind the building, and entrances to each business are located both via the parking lot and on 2nd Street. While hours for each establishment do vary, shops will be open as early as 10 a.m. and as late as 6 p.m. Want to add a little extra spice to your planting experience? Take advantage of Tipp City’s DORA (designated outdoor refreshment area) and grab a beverage from any local establishment to sip on during this event.

Customers will also find locally made plant accessories not found elsewhere like trellises, moss poles, clay and specialty pots, macrame hangers, and gifts.
