“All I Want For Christmas Quarter Auction” Set for November 23
TROY - On Sat. Nov. 23rd the Miami Valley Veterans Museum will be holding the “All I Want For Christmas Quarter Auction” At the Eagle's Campground in Troy. The doors open at 6 p.m. to give folks an opportunity to tour a new addition to our Christmas event. This year we are adding a “Table Top Christmas Tree Silent Auction”, and are welcoming Miami
County Locally Grown, a collaboration of vendors who produce locally grown farm products, canned meats, home baked items, deserts, herbal seasonings mixes, dry rubs, tea blends, body care products, honey, maple syrup, sorghum, pastas, and popcorn and artisan kitchen items.
Our Museum gift shop will also be on hand with a wide assortment of Veterans insignia hats and pins to honor that special someone who has served their country.
Arrive at 6 p.m. for homemade Sloppy Joes, Coneys or hot dogs, drinks and chips along with local treats from local food vendors.
Quarter Auction activities start at 7:15 p.m. with ALL NEW ITEMS for your “All I Want For Christmas Gift Giving”! Expect some unique surprises this year in the “Quarter Auction” with some new and fun bidding items.
Proceeds from this event support the operations of the Miami Valley Veterans Museum, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization whose mission is: “To Honor, Preserve and Perpetuate the Legacy Of Miami Valley Veterans.”
Join us on Nov. 23 at 6 p.m. for the “All I Want For Christmas Quarter Auction”, the “Table Top Christmas Tree Silent Auction”, Local Food vendors, Veteran’s gift items and a 50/50 Raffle. Admission is $3.00 per person and that includes one paddle for the Quarter Auction with addition paddles available.
The Eagles Campground is located northeast of Troy at 2252 Troy-Urbana Rd.
