Tipp City Community Night Concert to Feature Kim Kelly Orchestra, The Barnhart Band
TIPP CITY - The Tipp City Community Night tradition, in it’s 30th season, kicks off the 4th of July weekend with performances Friday, July 1st. The free concert is held on the corner of Second and Main Streets in downtown Tipp City. Starting the evening off will be the Barnhart Band at 6:00 pm followed by the Kim Kelly Orchestra at 7:30.
The Barnhart Band’s grit and spirit has triggered a return invitation to the Community Night stage. Bordering on blues, folk, and Indiana, the trio offers raw original songs and a few soulful covers. Band members include: John Treasure (guitar, vocals, and harmonica) Cyndi Treasure (standup bass), and Scott Atkinson (dobro).
The Kim Kelly Orchestra is a July First Friday tradition. They have been a crowd favorite returning year after year to provide polished material in a variety of styles from the Big Band Era of “swing” to classic and contemporary rock.
Community Nights are held on the first Friday of the month June-September. It is recommended that you bring a lawn chair. In case of inclement weather, the concert will be canceled. For more information, contact The Hotel Gallery at 937-667-3696.
