Hayner Hits the Road 2022 Trips Announced

The Troy-Hayner Cultural Center is pleased to announce the “Hayner Hits the Road” trips for 2022.
The first trip will be the Chattanooga Choo Choo Train Trip on May 12th-15th.
Highlights include three train rides on the Missionary Ridge Local, Lookout Mountain Incline Railway, and the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway; a dinner cruise on the Southern Belle; Ruby Falls and Rock City Gardens.
On June 19th-23rd, we will travel to Mackinac Island, including Frankenmuth and the Upper Peninsula.
Trip highlights include Frankenmuth shops with dinner at Zehnder’s, Bronner’s Christmas Wonderland, horse-drawn carriage tour of Mackinac Island, Mackinac Ferry Ride, lunch at the Grand Hotel, Soo Locks Boat Cruise, Tahquamenon Falls, Great Lake Shipwreck Museum and Jack Pine Lumberjack Show.
On July 13th we will take a day-trip to Akron, Ohio to tour the Stan Hywet Hall and Gardens.
This 65-room Tudor Revival Manor House was the home of F. A. Seiberling, founder of the Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company. The home was built in 1915 and is one of the top ten historic homes in Ohio to visit.
We will travel to New York to the Finger Lakes region to tour the Belhurst Castle, Boldt Castle and Singer Castle on September 25th-October 1st. Trip highlights include one night stay at Niagara Falls, Maid of the Mist Boat Ride, Corning Museum of Glass, Willard Memorial Chapel, Sonnenburg Gardens and Mansion, Finger Lakes Winery Tour and Tasting, Scenic Lake Cruise, Everson Museum of Art, Seneca Falls, Women’s Rights National Historic Park and Hall of Fame.
Our final trip will be Christmas at the Biltmore House on November 7th-10th. The Biltmore will be beautifully decorated for the Holidays and the trip will feature a daytime visit to the Biltmore House including the grounds, Winery and Antler Hill Village, an evening candlelight tour of the House, dinner on the Biltmore Estate at the Deerpark Restaurant, Grove Arcade, Biltmore Village, Blue Ridge Mountain Opry and a guided tour of Asheville, including the Folk Art Center.
