Dayton-Area McDonald’s Restaurants Celebrate Teachers Appreciation Week with a Free Thank You Treat for Teachers

Teachers Can Receive a Free Bakery Sweet with Any Purchase May 3 – 7

DAYTON – McDonald’s restaurants across Dayton (including those in Miami County) will offer a free bakery menu item with any purchase during Teacher Appreciation Week, May 3 – 7. Whether teaching virtual, in-person, or a combination of both, teachers have remained a vital backbone of our Dayton communities, and this Teacher Appreciation Week, McDonald’s wants to do their part in giving back to the teacher community.

The offer, which includes McDonald’s new lineup of baked goods, including the Cinnamon Roll, Blueberry Muffin and Apple Fritter, is valid at participating restaurants in the Cleveland, Akron, Youngstown, Columbus, Cincinnati, Dayton, Lima, Toledo and Zanesville, Ohio areas. A valid school I.D. for the 2020-2021 school year must be shown for redemption.

“Over the last year and a half, the teaching community has stepped up in a big way, and we know how much it took to continue keeping the students engaged and classes going throughout all of the shifts and turbulence,” said Kyle Kinney. “As local business owners, we are honored to give this small token of appreciation to our teachers as a way to say, ‘thank you.’”
