Tipp City Knights of Columbus Donate to Riverside
TROY - The Tipp City Knights of Columbus continued its tradition of support for the Miami County Board of Developmental Disabilities, also known as Riverside, by presenting a check for $3,000 to the Board at a recent meeting. Funds were used to purchase new uniforms and modified equipment for the Special Olympics basketball program.
Accepting the donation were Riverside Superintendent Brian Green and Board President Steve Baker. “We are grateful for the ongoing support by everyone affiliated with the Tipp City Knights of Columbus organization,” said Green. “We appreciate their partnership and continued support in serving Miami County residents who have developmental disabilities.”
The Tipp City Knights of Columbus has made annual donations to Riverside for many years in addition to sponsoring an annual basketball skills event that kicked off the season this year.
