Tipp City's Coach Cahill to Retire After 38 Years
Here's what Coach Cahill had to say on Facebook about his retirement...

"After 38 years as a Varsity baseball coach, I have decided to retire. There are so many people to thank for doing something that I loved so much. My dad taught me the game that I have been able to pass on to so many great young men. I want to thank all of my assistant coaches through the years, especially Jim Johnson who has been with me since 1998. I have worked with a lot of great Athletic Directors and administrators and I thank you all. Thank you Greg Schultz and Aaron Schlotterbeck for all you do for our athletes. Thanks to our maintenance department (Howio) and bus drivers for all you do.

I love all the players that I got to know through baseball including our opponents. To all my coaching and umpire friends, I will miss you all.

This is getting a little sappy but this game means everything to me. I was blessed to have a wife and 4 daughters who got to share their dad but understood how we could make it work and now I get to spend more time with them.

Thank you Tipp City! Always a Red Devil!!"
