Master Gardeners to Discuss "Carnivorous Plants" at Oct. 7 Event

TROY - The Miami County Master Gardener Volunteers will present “Carnivorous Plants” at the next session in the Coffee with the Master Gardeners series on October 7 at 10 a.m. Plants that eat meat in more than one horror movie are not as scary as you might think. They are quite fun, beautiful, and useful to the ecosystem. Join Valerie Dahlem, Miami County Master Gardener Volunteer, for a lighthearted discussion that will shed light on the life of carnivorous plants, both real and in fiction.
The session will be held at the Hobart Building for County Government, 510 W Water St in Troy on the first level conference room. The cost is $10 and pre-registration is required by Wednesday, October 5 th . Refreshments will be provided.
