PIQUA - Calling all connoisseurs and enthusiasts of fine spirits and wines! Get ready to entice your taste buds and elevate your senses at the much-anticipated Bourbon Affair on November 4, 2023, hosted by the Piqua Arts Council (PAC). The classic evening promises an unforgettable fusion of flavors, elegance and philanthropy, all set at the newest wedding & event venue in the heart of Downtown Piqua: The Gallery Venue & Event Center.
With high standards and an emphasis on creativity, the Piqua Arts Council created more than just a classic bourbon or wine tasting event that will continue for its second year this November. Highlights of the event include:
· Bourbon or Wine Tastings: Rare, allocated & barrel-picked bourbons and high-class wines have been expertly selected for each round of tasting. Whether it be for the bourbon enthusiast or the wine aficionado, the diverse range of spirits is guaranteed to please even the most discerning palate.
· Gourmet Culinary Pairings: In partnership with Rich Taste Catering, an upscale catering company based out of Dayton, Ohio, the team has carefully designed a chic, 5-course tasting menu that will thoughtfully pair with each spirit and wine, enhancing the intricate interplay of flavors.
· *Silent Auction Extravaganza: Take part in an exciting silent auction featuring an assortment of exquisite items, from rare bottles of bourbon and wine to unique, local experiences and more. Proceeds will directly benefit the Piqua Arts Council in their efforts to enhance the community through the arts and unique experiences such as this.
· Specialty Cash Bar: Expand on the simplicity of the night of tastings by enjoying one of the event’s signature cocktails, available to you throughout the duration of the evening.
· Exclusive VIP Experience: Take your experience to the next level with an additional bourbon tasting “to-go”, featuring 3 rare bourbons, an assortment of local Winans chocolates, a pair of specialty-made whiskey glasses and fashionable coasters.
“Here at the Piqua Arts Council, it is essential that we highlight the 4 pillars of art: visual, performing, literary and culinary. In 2022, we were proud to introduce this new event that celebrates the artistry and craftsmanship that goes into the creation of fine spirits and wines,” states Piqua Arts Council Executive Director, Jordan Knepper. “In addition to the culinary experience of the evening, we found this to be a perfect way to raise funds to support our mission to continue to build up our community through the arts, and to contribute to other events such as Rock Piqua, Creative Classrooms, Homegrown Arts, and more, through a large silent auction.”

A limited amount of bourbon tickets and wine tickets are being sold, and only 20 VIP add-on experiences (for an additional $85) are available.
